Character test.

Hey all.

I saw that Matt of the Wandering Artichoke had taken a character test, so naturally I had to know who I was according to the 240 questions they asked. Personally, I think it's spot on!

What do you guys think? Am I the amazing person shown below? Remember, they're an independant company...

Feel free to comment on the actual blog, or more likely since you're all lazy, here on good old facebook!

Your Top Character Strength

Perspective (wisdom)
Although you may not think of yourself as wise, your friends hold this view of you. They value your perspective on matters and turn to you for advice. You have a way of looking at the world that makes sense to others and to yourself.

Your Second Character Strength

Humor and playfulness
You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.

Your Third Character Strength

Hope, optimism, and future-mindedness
You expect the best in the future, and you work to achieve it. You believe that the future is something that you can control.

Your Fourth Character Strength

Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
Thinking things through and examining them from all sides are important aspects of who you are. You do not jump to conclusions, and you rely only on solid evidence to make your decisions. You are able to change your mind.

Your Fifth Character Strength

Creativity, ingenuity, and originality
Thinking of new ways to do things is a crucial part of who you are. You are never content with doing something the conventional way if a better way is possible.

Today, a quote from a man named H. Jackson Brown Jr.;

"Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are, to some extent, a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it, piece by piece -- by thought, choice, courage, and determination."

Keep it safe kids.

I did it, but wasn't blown away with the results. At 240 questions, you think it'd be a bit more, "Oh wow, that's right on."
