The Ice man cometh

Ok, so I have a few different things to say... they're not too impressive on their own, so lets hope they make something fun to read together!

Firstly and most importantly...

This morning, for the first time this "Fall"... It snowed! Not a lot, it didn't settle... but still, it was there... Which means I upgraded from long sleeved T and a hoodie... to a long sleeved T, hoodie AND camp fleece. I'll be busting out the ski-jacket soon...

Ok, other issue

So I was skating to school the other day, and as I was rolling through campus, a huge white truck drives up behind me (On the sidewalk) and BLARES it's horn! Naturally, it made me jump but I kept my cool, slid to the side and stepped off. The truck happened to belong to campus security. She told me that "There is no skateboarding on campus". Now, I understand they may not want me to do this, but I had never been told about this, having skated to school 4 out of 5 days a week on average. I had also never seen any signs displayed, which I told her. She replied by staring me in the eye and saying;

"I'm the sign, I'm telling you"

I should have taken this further, in hindsight, and commented on the "Smoke free campus" that they proudly claim to have, even though someone is always walking through campus sucking on a cancer-stick, and they NEVER get stopped. Best part is there are "NO SMOKING" signs everywhere, and on every door.

But the no smoking sign? It walks around and scares the crap out of you. From behind. With a large horn.

I hate rent-a-cops.
