01 - Hope this answers any questions...

Hey guys.

Some of you might be wondering what on earth this is. Formally it's known as a "web log" But the majority of people call it a "Blog". It's basically an online diary.

"But why have you created one Jamie?"

Well, I've created this so that i can show and tell people what i'm doing and how things are going, while i'm in America. This way, the latest information will be available to my whole family and friends at the click of a mouse!

"Wait, you're going to America?!"

Yeah. Sorry if i forgot to tell you... I'll be in America for the best part of 18 months, and i'll be coming back aroundabout september 2007.

"What are you doing there?"

There is a lot of questions like this that you guys might need answering, and to get them, i reccomend going HERE. That should answer any other questions. (it also explains the odd blog name... ;) )

well, i think thats all i want/need to say. As i write this, my trip to America is still not official. It could still all fall through. Also, expect posts weekly at best.

Untill i actually leave though, i'll keep this updated with how my application is going.

25th Jan - I have an appointment to see Matt (my camp director) In london on feb 4th. Then its off to the embassy a few weeks later...

feb 5th - Matt hadn't recieved my application forms yet, and so he'll e-mail them to me as soon as he can. Then they get sent to new york, then back to matt and then me again! Then i go see the embassy...
